Its underlying data model can tailored to “fit” each unique organisation and uses technology that is compatible with most existing information systems thus maximising your self-reliance when making local improvements to your service or IPOP itself.

Typically it increases the data literacy of staff and data quality by providing reports that are meaningful to both practitioners and senior managers. With adequate data it can go on to analyse service demand and activity against population data, such as GP's Primary Care Populations and morbidity rates.
