IPOP is driven by a data model that links local activity information with
bespoke data tables. Designed to address ALL of the analysis needs raised by
our clients IPOP uses only direct measurements as its source so provides a
high level of confidence with a “zero guesswork” on analyses including:
Clients
pathways - showing recovery measures, how people come into
contact with the service, move between teams and exit services.
Clients
demography, needs, pathways and outcomes
Resource Groups
based upon clients needs and the services that are provided, rather than
purely diagnoses which, when used in isolation, include too many
variables to provide reliable cost and activity analyses.
Team capacity and
activity - enabling cost analyses and cost improvement plans
based on actual workload as well as financial information.
Service Line
Reports - seeing a Service Line as summary of information
aggregated by any data type within the underlying data model then iPOP
can provide service line reports based on any criteria, to produce
information to meet the needs of a modern organisation.
Its underlying data model can
tailored to “fit” each unique organisation and uses technology that is
compatible with most existing information systems thus maximising your
self-reliance when making local improvements to your service or IPOP itself.
Typically it increases the
data literacy of staff and data quality by providing reports that are
meaningful to both practitioners and senior managers. With adequate data it
can go on to analyse service demand and activity against population data,
such as GP's Primary Care Populations and morbidity rates.
